Production Supervisor (Shift)

About the role

The Shift Production Supervisor ensures safe, efficient and high‑quality production execution during the assigned shift. You will coordinate the team, monitor output, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets and key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production according to planning, priorities and operational procedures.
• Monitor daily output, OEE, yield, scrap and cycle time to achieve targets.
• Coordinate shift activities, ensure proper hand‑over between shifts and allocate manpower based on workload.
• Lead and support operators/technicians, coach the team and enforce attendance and shop‑floor organization.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions and process parameters; react to deviations and support corrective actions.
• Promote safety culture, enforce PPE usage and stop production when safety risks arise.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting, coordinate with Maintenance, Process Engineering and Quality, and escalate major issues.
• Participate in Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, standard work) and implement improvement actions to reduce downtime, scrap and rework.
• Prepare and deliver shift reports documenting production output and incidents.

Required profile

• Junior engineering background with strong leadership potential.
• Willingness to develop in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to motivate a team, manage shift logistics and maintain discipline.
