Production Supervisor (Wipers Activity)

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Wipers activity to lead new‑joiner induction, training and daily operations on the shop floor. You will ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Induct and train newcomers, including temporary staff, and organise training actions.
• Analyse flexibility needs, define and follow up training plans to develop team autonomy.
• Monitor operator certifications, update the polyvalence matrix in real‑time and perform daily On‑the‑Job Training.
• Guarantee compliance with HSE and site rules for all personnel entering the perimeter.
• Ensure work instructions are up‑to‑date for every station, including rework.
• Propose weekly headcounts and organisation aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Maintain production while respecting SQCDM targets and inventory levels.
• Define and verify containment and corrective actions for unresolved problems.
• Review daily QRAPs, react quickly to issues and liaise with Supply Chain on MPS priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in industrial or mechanical management.
• More than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong team‑management skills and ability to take initiative.
