Productivity Buyer

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Productivity Buyer to work with site and commodity teams, improve purchasing performance and deliver productivity actions within budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deliver productivity plans by defining and implementing materials productivity actions through technical, re‑sourcing, logistics and VPS levers.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities to support the site’s purchasing objectives.
• Support site negotiations together with Segment Leaders to achieve negotiation targets.
• Lead material productivity actions with the MSC and engage suppliers to deliver results on time and within budget.
• Act as Key Account Purchasing for designated suppliers not covered by the Group Commodity organization.
• Implement purchasing standards and V5000 Supplier Integration requirements.
• Prepare the site purchasing budget and implement mitigation actions.
• Ensure logistics protocols cover all bought‑out parts and monitor performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bac+5 degree in an industrial discipline or International Trade.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing.
• Fluency in English and French.
