Program Buyer

About the role

The Program Buyer will act as the bridge between the purchasing function and engineering, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams for vehicle development and serial production. The role is responsible for a defined product perimeter, supporting supplier selection, managing supplier relationships and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier kick‑off meetings once a supplier award is confirmed.
• Negotiate potential volume increases and control the impact of design changes during development.
• Release final start‑of‑production prices, incorporating project change notices.
• Identify troubled suppliers or potential shortages and coordinate escalation with stakeholders.
• Support Supplier Quality teams to meet capacity and quality convergence targets.
• Conduct summary meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional specialty teams to manage negotiations and engineering changes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Procurement or Logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience with proven purchasing and supplier negotiation skills.
• Strong report‑writing ability and capacity to synthesize information.
• Proactive mindset, responsive and professional attitude.
• Good knowledge of negotiation techniques.
• Professional working proficiency in French (B2–C1) and English (B2–C1).
