Program Leader

About the role

As a Program Leader at Aptiv, you will drive cross‑functional EMEA teams to launch automotive projects from customer nomination through serial production. You will ensure alignment with Aptiv’s procedures and strategy while delivering high‑quality, on‑time results for leading automotive brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own flawless execution of assigned programs, monitoring metrics and performance.
• Develop and maintain the project plan and master schedule.
• Serve as primary customer interface for updates, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Lead and coordinate project activities, providing direction to the project team and related associates.
• Conduct regular program reviews, track risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Escalate issues beyond team control and ensure synchronization of operational and project activities for a smooth start of production.
• Oversee pilot and prototype builds, meeting delivery targets.
• Support launch readiness, production ramp‑up, and project stabilization.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership, strong communication, and team‑oriented work style.
• Deep understanding of automotive standards and product development processes.
• Experience collaborating with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Effective risk and conflict management abilities.
