Program Leader

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Program Leader to drive cross‑functional EMEA teams through the full product development lifecycle, from customer nomination to serial production hand‑over. You will act as the primary interface with OEM customers, ensuring flawless launch execution and alignment with Aptiv’s procedures and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end execution of assigned programs, delivering on schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain the master project plan and program schedule.
• Serve as the main customer liaison for updates, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate activities across project teams, pilots, and prototype builds to meet delivery commitments.
• Monitor program metrics, conduct regular reviews, and manage risks and escalations.
• Synchronise operational activities with project steps to ensure a smooth start of production.
• Support launch readiness, production ramp‑up, and post‑launch stabilization.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership, strong communication, and team‑oriented mindset.
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Excellent risk and conflict management abilities.

Required skills

• APQP methodology.
• FMEA and DFMEA processes.
