Project Leader – Automotive Seating Projects

About the role

The Project Leader will coordinate and manage project launches and transfers within the Cut & Sew (Tensure) business group of Lear's Seating Division in Tangier, Morocco. Reporting to the Plant Launch Manager, the role ensures milestones are met, cross‑functional alignment is achieved, and launch activities are executed flawlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Program Team to establish manufacturing planning and project milestones.
• Define resource needs for new projects in coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Organise, moderate and conduct internal and external project meetings.
• Coordinate with plant management to align Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, Logistics and Maintenance.
• Manage project risks, define counter‑measures and ensure timely implementation of action plans.
• Report project status through weekly launch dashboards and standard formats.
• Support materials management for pre‑builds and launches.
• Maintain effective customer relationships during project development phases.
• Ensure adherence to APQP deliverables, project milestones and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating project launches in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and align diverse stakeholder interests.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external meetings.
• Proactive risk management and problem‑solving mindset.
