Project Management Internship

About the role

As a Project Management Intern you will support Siemens Energy's project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring initiatives. This hands‑on role offers exposure to project coordination, stakeholder communication, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Support project managers in tracking progress against milestones.
• Help identify and document potential project risks and issues.
• Participate in team meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes and action items.
• Coordinate activities across cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Support communication efforts with project stakeholders as directed.
• Contribute to project status reports and performance analysis.
• Document best practices and support process‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and prepare presentations.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Final‑year student completing a mandatory end‑of‑studies internship.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Knowledge of project planning and risk identification.
• Basic understanding of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) is a plus.
