Project Manager II – Engineering Projects

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking a Project Manager II to lead sustaining engineering projects across its global operations. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations, and supporting ongoing business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all sustaining project management activities from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, portfolio plans, and status reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality, finance, and other functions to resolve resource constraints.
• Conduct capacity increase analyses, evaluate legacy tool performance, and support business operations.
• Lead actions with operations teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Analyze quotations in partnership with the NPI team for sustaining projects.
• Report progress and opportunities to senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Manufacturing Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Proven ability to take ownership, make independent decisions, and drive results.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities at all organizational levels.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of thriving in demanding environments.

Required skills

• Agile Project Management methodology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, similar).
