Project Manager MICE

About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing travel projects from initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up. Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams, the role delivers smooth, well-executed travel solutions for individuals, groups and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end travel projects, including itinerary design, bookings, logistics and budgeting.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and create customized travel plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers such as airlines, hotels, transport and guides.
• Oversee travel documentation including visas, insurance and permits.
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, and handle changes or disruptions.
• Manage group travel logistics for events, tours and corporate trips.
• Provide support during travel in case of emergencies or last-minute changes.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on all travel activities.
• Evaluate and improve internal travel planning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in travel planning, operations or project management within a travel agency.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Required skills

• Familiarity with booking systems such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
