Project Manager - Power Generation

About the role

BIA Group sells, rents and provides after-sales services for equipment used in public works, mines, quarries and transport, operating in Europe, Africa and Asia. The Project Manager - Power leads and manages projects in the power generation business and its associated balance of plant, driving end-to-end execution from Purchase Order through commissioning and handover, on time, within scope and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from Purchase Order receipt to commissioning and handover.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities across engineering, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning.
• Lead project execution to meet technical, commercial and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and clients to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Track schedules, budgets and resources, identify risks and put mitigation measures in place.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards throughout execution.
• Report progress regularly to the Head of Power Division and key stakeholders.
• Support site activities during installation, testing and commissioning, and help prepare handover documentation and project close-out.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Power Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Project management certification.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Proven experience in power generation projects and balance of plant systems, with knowledge of project execution from Purchase Order to commissioning.
• Background in engineering and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
