Project Quality Engineer – Automotive

About the role

As a Project Quality Engineer you will support ALTEN’s automotive projects by ensuring that quality standards are applied throughout the product lifecycle. You will work closely with design, production and supplier teams to drive continuous improvement and meet defined quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Apply quality methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define and monitor the quality path to achieve project quality objectives.
• Manage action plans, provide forecasts and consolidate milestones, issues, risks and traceability from the preliminary phase to SOP.
• Establish and maintain the quality organization, acting as a conduit for core quality teams.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure achievement of quality targets for secondary launches and product changes.
• Guarantee no quality impact during post‑mass‑production changes and report progress to the Chief Engineer.
• Develop and maintain a quality project KPI book.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role.
• Good command of French and English.
• Automotive industry experience is mandatory.
