Prototypes & Launch Leader

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Prototypes & Launch Leader to oversee prototype and pre‑series activities, ensuring physical resources are delivered on time, within budget and to performance standards. The role will coordinate across design, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics to support vehicle programs from concept through series production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the prototype budget, tracking commitments, actuals and forecasts.
• Define client dates and align physical resource delivery with project schedules.
• Plan and balance resource needs against prototype workshop and pilot line capacities.
• Create resource descriptions and manufacturing nomenclatures for mechanical factories.
• Handle change requests for physical resources and ensure appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate supplies, logistics and scheduling up to the transfer of parts to series production.
• Collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and series logistics to guarantee part availability.
• Report progress to the project manager, identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in prototype or pre‑series project management within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with design, engineering, supply chain and logistics teams.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a focus on meeting quality, cost, deadline and performance targets.
