Python/Django Developer – 2+ years experience

About the role

We are seeking a confident and autonomous Python/Django developer to join a strategic project based in the Fès/Rabat region. You will work on the maintenance and continuous evolution of an existing business application, ensuring its reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Python and Django.
• Analyse, fix bugs and improve existing code.
• Maintain PostgreSQL data models, migrations and ORM mappings.
• Implement secure Excel import/export and ETL pipelines.
• Manage asynchronous processing with Celery and Redis.
• Design, develop and document REST APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Write and maintain automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Diagnose production incidents and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Occasionally contribute to frontend work with JavaScript, HTMX and Bootstrap.

Required profile

• Confirmed, autonomous professional comfortable with an existing codebase.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex business rules.
• Rigorous approach to writing maintainable, tested code.
• Very good French and English communication skills.
