QA Engineer (Remote, Fluent English)

About the role

SupportYourApp is looking for a proactive QA Engineer to join its global, multilingual support team. You will work fully remotely, collaborating with product owners, developers, and front‑end engineers to ensure high‑quality SaaS solutions for clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans from functional and technical specifications.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases using Zephyr integrated with JIRA.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA, verify fixes, and coordinate retesting.
• Validate user stories against acceptance criteria before release.
• Apply Shift‑Left testing by engaging early in the development lifecycle.
• Partner with front‑end engineers to convert manual scenarios into automated scripts using Cucumber, Gherkin, and Playwright.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enhance automated test coverage.
• Perform network, performance, smoke, and visual regression testing in production environments.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level, spoken and written).
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on QA experience in SaaS or software product companies.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Shift‑Left testing practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality integration.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work autonomously.
