Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Lead the quality agenda for a Mondelēz manufacturing plant in Morocco, ensuring compliance with corporate, legal and certification standards while driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise the Quality and Food Safety Management System (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, PAS 96) and act as the top‑management representative for quality.
• Lead internal and external audits, coordinate gap assessments and manage corrective actions.
• Oversee product quality and food‑safety investigations, make go/no‑go decisions on deviations, and handle consumer complaints and authority inspections.
• Drive budget management, loss elimination and continuous improvement programmes (IL6S, iQS).
• Recruit, coach and develop the quality team, ensuring sufficient resources and performance targets are met.

Required profile

• Higher diploma in Food Process Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, Technology or Quality Management.
• Extensive experience in operations, quality and/or R&D within a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Proven people‑leadership skills, including recruitment, performance management and coaching.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, PAS 96 standards.
• Statistical process control and problem‑solving techniques.
• Qualified internal auditor for quality and food‑safety systems.
• Qualified supplier auditor/developer.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
