Quality & EHS Manager

About the role

Sanden is launching a new HVAC plant in Morocco and seeks a full‑time Quality & EHS Manager to build the quality and environmental health & safety systems from the ground up. The role will define the plant’s strategy, drive certification programmes and embed a zero‑defect, zero‑incident culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the plant’s Quality & EHS vision, strategy and budget (CAPEX & OPEX) aligned with corporate policies and customer expectations.
• Lead the Quality & EHS function, acting as the primary interface for customers and stakeholders to achieve zero complaints and warranty issues.
• Ensure continuous compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, customer requirements and legal EHS regulations; conduct risk assessments and audit readiness.
• Drive supplier sourcing, development and qualification activities.
• Monitor product and process quality performance, achieve plant KPIs, lead root‑cause analysis (5Why, Ishikawa) and apply Lean problem‑solving for permanent improvements.
• Promote a continuous‑improvement culture and execute improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead Quality & EHS functions in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering and maintaining IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, audit processes and supplier qualification.
