Quality Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Casablanca site, supporting the manufacturing of advanced composite materials. The role focuses on driving quality improvements, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake investigations, quality projects and statistical analysis to support customer and business initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and site‑specific quality projects.
• Support quality system and process reviews to maintain a robust Plant QMS.
• Become proficient with Hexcel’s QC/QA software systems and assist in problem resolution.
• Maintain site AX2012, Pilgrim and Velocity systems for specification and documentation compliance.
• Champion ancillary tasks such as 5S, LEAN and other continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze technical requirements of contracts, drawings and specifications to develop product quality plans.
• Create and maintain quality documentation required by customers or internal systems.
• Conduct internal and external audits as needed.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality department.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting abilities with mechanical equipment.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.

Required skills

• AX2012, Pilgrim and Velocity software systems.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology (preferred).
• Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Experience with measurement and inspection equipment.
• Strong technical analysis and statistical analysis capabilities.
