Quality Engineer (Kenitra TFZ Plant)

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support the Kenitra TFZ Plant by ensuring product quality, coordinating PPAP and APQP activities, and serving as the primary liaison with customer quality engineers. This role involves problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Establish direct contact with resident quality engineers at customer sites to resolve quality issues.
• Manage PPAP and IMDS approvals, coordinate the PPAP process, and submit PSWs according to timelines.
• Retrieve and maintain Control Plans and PFMEA for launched product families.
• Review, control, and communicate Engineering Changes (ECs/EIs) to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving meetings and assign corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaint files (8D reports, 48‑hour response, 15‑day action plan, closure).
• Support production and engineering teams in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action development.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions, verify effectiveness, and manage internal non‑conformities.
• Participate in FMEA development, updates, and quality improvement projects.
• Oversee warranty claims, including 8D reporting and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, ISO 14001, and lead customer audits.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, or related).
• Strong knowledge of the 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Good understanding of APQP, PPAP, PSW, and FMEA processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
