Quality Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function at our Moroccan subsidiary, FAMACO. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure compliance with customer and corporate quality standards while driving continuous improvement across the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the factory’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with corporate policies and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Technical, Development, Merchandising and Production teams to guarantee consistent product quality.
• Analyze and apply technical, product safety and QMS requirements from multiple customers.
• Create and update SOPs, process flows, work instructions and job descriptions for QA/QC staff.
• Oversee inspection of incoming, in‑process and finished goods and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage IQC, QC and QA control points, including the Factory Random Inspection schedule.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) programs for internal and external non‑conformities.
• Organise cross‑functional quality meetings and produce statistical performance reports.
• Identify training needs, develop materials and deliver training for QA/QC teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM and Quality Circles.
• Monitor quality KPIs and achieve Cost of Quality (COQ) targets set by corporate quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience may substitute formal qualification).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex quality systems.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical reporting.
