Regional Intern, Central Africa

About the role

Join FIFA’s Central Africa regional office (UNIFFAC) as a Regional Intern and support the development of football across the region. This 6‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and event logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Regional Office with day‑to‑day coordination of activities.
• Support follow‑up of football development projects with member associations.
• Prepare minutes, reports and presentations for internal and external meetings.
• Coordinate logistics for missions, workshops and events organized by the regional office.
• Handle administrative follow‑up of files, correspondence, agenda, filing and databases.
• Contribute to communication and liaison with member associations and local stakeholders.
• Monitor and gather information on ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in sports management, international relations, administration or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and good command of English; additional FIFA language (Spanish or Arabic) is a plus.
• Interest in football development in Africa.
• Availability for a 6‑month internship with a mandatory university agreement.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UNIFFAC zone.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
