Regional IT Manager – Middle East and Africa

About the role

The Regional IT Manager will lead the strategic and operational delivery of IT services across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Reporting to the global IT organization, you will ensure that technology solutions are robust, secure, and scalable while aligning with corporate policies and regional business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and develop a regional team of IT professionals, conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
• Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, servers, laptops and other equipment, ensuring availability, reliability and security.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Enforce corporate IT security standards, monitor network and endpoint security, and respond to incidents.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.
• Manage regional IT projects, defining timelines, budgets and aligning with global roadmaps.
• Handle vendor and partner relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor service level agreements.
• Communicate effectively with IT staff, end‑users and regional business leaders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of regional business environments and ability to align IT services with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor contracts.
