About the role

The Société de Développement Local “Marrakech Moussafir” S.A. is seeking a Regisseur Comptable to manage its cash receipt and expense registry in compliance with Moroccan accounting regulations. The role involves overseeing cash flow, ensuring proper documentation, and reporting on the financial status of the regie.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cash receipt and expense registry.
• Record all transactions in the cash journal, prepare vouchers and deposit slips.
• Prepare reconciliation statements between cash on hand and recorded receipts.
• Archive supporting documents and ensure their safekeeping.
• Transfer funds regularly to the chief accountant or designated bank.
• Justify cash balances at any time and support internal control audits.
• Produce monthly activity and status reports for the regie.
• Issue receipts and accounting documents for internal users and external parties.

Required profile

• Minimum professional experience in accounting, finance or cash management.
• Relevant academic qualification in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Ability to work accurately with financial documents and adhere to regulatory standards.
