Remote Sales Development Representative (Contract)

About the role

Remly is a remote sales enablement company that helps early and growth-stage startups build SDR and AE teams across the US, Europe and the Middle East. It offers experienced, often bilingual sales professionals at competitive cost. This is a remote, contract Sales Development Representative role focused on generating qualified pipeline for a tech startup client that sells social screen time solutions to corporate teams and targets the European market.

Key responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
• Execute high-volume outbound outreach by email, phone and social channels.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and run discovery conversations.
• Schedule meetings for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate CRM records.
• Work with sales leadership on messaging and campaign strategy, and refine outreach based on results and feedback.

Required profile

• Proven track record in an SDR, BDR or similar outbound role, preferably in B2B SaaS or startup environments.
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage time well and meet or exceed activity and meeting targets.
• Comfortable working across time zones; international sales experience is an advantage.
• Working proficiency in more than one language (e.g. English plus a European or Middle Eastern language) is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Inside sales and sales to lead generation, including handling objections and converting interest into qualified opportunities.
• Lead generation and business development, including prospect identification and pipeline creation.
• Strong communication skills for clear conversations and written outreach.
• Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce and sales engagement platforms is beneficial.
