Room Controller

About the role

The Room Controller ensures seamless room allocation for all arrivals at Four Seasons Casablanca, balancing guest preferences, elite status, and operational efficiency. Working closely with Reservations, Housekeeping and Front Office teams, you will be the central point for managing room queues and delivering a flawless check‑in experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assign rooms for all arrivals, considering estimated arrival times, guest preferences, stay history and special focus on Elite and VIP guests.
• Manage the “Queue” of rooms, coordinating with Housekeeping to monitor room readiness for check‑in.
• Run daily reports on arrivals, departures and special requests, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Track changes in room status (early/late check‑out, transfers, unexpected stays) and communicate updates to Housekeeping.
• Collaborate with the Reservations department to obtain precise arrival times and handle group arrivals.
• Prepare for early check‑ins, express and late check‑out requests, providing guidance based on occupancy patterns.
• Liaise with Housekeeping to ready rooms for departures and back‑to‑back bookings.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with guests, reservations, and housekeeping teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a particular emphasis on serving elite and VIP guests.
• Organisational aptitude to manage room queues and maintain accurate records.
