Sales Engineer

About the role

Leica Geosystems is seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Sales Engineer to grow its presence in Morocco. Based in Casablanca, you will combine technical expertise with commercial skills to identify customer needs, design solutions, demonstrate technologies and support sales from initial contact through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Leica hardware, software and integrated solutions across surveying, construction, infrastructure, mining and related sectors.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and support distributors and channel partners.
• Conduct technical assessments, prepare proposals, tender responses and ROI cases, and work with customers on implementation plans.
• Run product demonstrations, proofs of concept and field tests; train customers and distributors on equipment, software and workflows.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, resolve issues with service teams, and maintain regular contact with key accounts for upselling and cross‑selling.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and major projects; represent Leica at industry events and provide sales forecasts and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma in Geomatics, Topography, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geospatial Sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in surveying, geomatics, construction or technical sales.
• Fluent in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and planning skills with an entrepreneurial, customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of surveying and measurement technologies.
• Experience with GNSS, Total Stations, Laser Scanning, Reality Capture, Machine Control or geospatial software.
• Ability to understand customer workflows and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Strong presentation and demonstration abilities.
