Salesforce Tester – Functional QA Engineer

About the role

The Salesforce Tester will ensure reliable delivery of Forterro’s Salesforce platform, focusing on CRM and CPQ. Working within Enterprise IT Applications, the role translates business and technical requirements into test scenarios and validates new capabilities before release.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional, system, integration, regression and exploratory testing across Salesforce CRM and CPQ.
• Translate user stories, acceptance criteria and business requirements into clear test scenarios, test cases and test data.
• Test core CRM and CPQ processes such as leads, accounts, opportunities, product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, renewals and amendments.
• Validate Salesforce integrations, APIs, data flows, security permissions and business‑specific configurations.
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with administrators and developers to verify fixes.
• Maintain regression coverage and support end‑to‑end testing, user acceptance testing and release validation.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and continuous improvement of testing standards.

Required profile

• At least two years of hands‑on experience testing Salesforce software development.
• Practical experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong understanding of CRM and quote‑to‑cash processes, including pricing, quoting and approvals.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations and data flows.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
• Nice‑to‑have: experience with Salesforce test automation tools, SOQL or SQL, and integrations with ERP or finance systems.
