Science Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with school staff. The role involves classroom instruction, assessment design, and active participation in school community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize class materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design monthly assessments, grade assignments, and record grades on schedule.
• Decorate the classroom with relevant educational materials and supervise playground duties.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Attend meetings, workshops, parent sessions, and school events.
• Monitor attendance, manage homework boards, and encourage student participation in sub‑committees and community projects.
• Communicate openly with students, parents, and staff, and refer concerns to the psychologist when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
