Senior Accountant - AP & TAX

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Morocco Finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure accurate monthly accounting, and support a robust internal control environment for the Casablanca office.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end financial transactions, including three‑way matching of supplier invoices, vendor reconciliations, cash settlements, payments, and monthly bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, with focus on high‑risk accounts.
• Partner with procurement leaders, banking partners, external auditors, and tax consultants to maintain smooth cash‑flow operations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns, manage vendor withholding certificates, and support audits and tax inspections to ensure compliance with local laws and Group requirements.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of Moroccan GAAP, US GAAP, and Morocco taxation.
• Proven ability to prepare statutory accounts, navigate complex ERP systems, and solve financial problems independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
• University degree in Commerce and solid experience in double‑entry bookkeeping and month‑end account preparation.
