Senior Accountant (Chief Accountant) – English Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level accountant to act as Chief Accountant for our Morocco office. The role ensures that accounting records comply with local and group standards, that tax obligations are met on time, and that financial information is reliably reported to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end closing in line with local, group and tax requirements.
• Prepare ad‑hoc accounting controls, management reports, tax planning documents and support external audits.
• Oversee daily treasury planning and cash management.
• Produce financial analyses for senior management and conduct profitability reviews.
• Implement group monitoring tools, analyse variances to budget/forecast and suggest reporting improvements.
• Coordinate communication with the Group Shared Service Center in Palma and Zurich.
• Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager Morocco.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Economics or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards (SNS) and tax system.
• Excellent analytical abilities and initiative.
• Fluent English communication skills.
