Senior Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the company’s financial operations. You will work closely with multiple departments, managing accounting processes and supporting financial performance through sound accounting practices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with company policies and applicable standards.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Manage general ledger activities and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management decision‑making.
• Monitor balance‑sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
• Support accounts payable and receivable as needed.
• Assist in statutory reports, tax declarations, and regulatory filings.
• Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Fluency in French and Arabic with good command of English.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
