Senior Accountant

About the role

eCarsTrade is a fast‑growing online remarketing platform for used cars. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support the company’s rapid expansion across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Book purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits and credit notes.
• Prepare and follow up on payments, ensuring timely collection and settlement.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to guarantee efficient follow‑up.
• Manage customer and supplier balances and reconcile accounts.
• Record financial and payroll transactions accurately.
• Provide ad‑hoc support for payroll, inventory, reporting and monthly closing activities.
• Identify, optimise and automate accounting processes independently.
• Calculate inventory value at month‑end closing (a strong plus).

Required profile

• Associate degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong communication skills and a socially oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive work ethic while thriving in a team environment.
• High level of accuracy, punctuality and attention to detail.
