Senior Accountant - Record to Report

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. The role focuses on Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and supporting financial reporting, audits, and continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record and report compensation and benefit expenses in line with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, tax, FP&A, legal and other cross‑functional teams to ensure correct transaction recording.
• Stay current on compensation and benefit regulations and ensure compliance.
• Assist with audit preparation, respond to inquiries and provide required documentation.
• Manage all aspects of compensation and benefit accounting, including PTO, pension, insurance and other employee benefits.
• Drive month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Perform variance/flux analysis and draft accounting policies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in corporate accounting.
• Strong organizational and task‑prioritization abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle complex global accounting processes and ensure continuity.
• Problem‑solving attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
