Senior Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join our team of professionals who value clarity, collaboration and continuous improvement. In this role you will lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff and deliver actionable insights to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support junior auditors, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high‑quality work.
• Design and execute audit strategies by analysing client processes, identifying key risks and tailoring audit approaches.
• Evaluate management assumptions, assess compliance and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
• Review internal control frameworks, administrative processes and workflows to strengthen operational foundations.
• Transform financial and operational data into insights using budgets, KPIs, financial indicators and data‑analytics techniques, including process mining.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory complexity, ensuring compliance with IFRS, BGAAP, Economic Law and Company Law.
• Participate in advisory engagements, contribute to proposals and support client development initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Economic Sciences, Mathematics, Law or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience (candidates with more experience are also welcome).
• Strong analytical abilities and clear communication of complex matters.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with solid proficiency in English.
• Good understanding of financial analysis, audit methodology and regulatory frameworks.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support colleague growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Data‑analytics capabilities, including process mining.
