Senior Auditor – Lead Audit Teams & Drive Insights

About the role

As a Senior Auditor you will join a collaborative team that values clarity, continuous improvement and high‑quality delivery. You will guide junior auditors, shape audit strategies and provide actionable insights to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support junior colleagues, coaching them to deliver high‑quality audit work.
• Design and execute audit strategies, analysing client processes and identifying key risks.
• Evaluate management assumptions, assess compliance and recommend process improvements.
• Review internal control frameworks, administrative processes and workflows.
• Transform financial and operational data into insights using budgets, KPIs, financial indicators and data‑analytics techniques such as process mining.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory complexity, including IFRS, BGAAP, Economic Law and Company Law.
• Participate in advisory engagements and contribute to proposals and client development initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Economic Sciences, Mathematics, Law or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience (more experience welcomed).
• Strong analytical abilities and clear communication of complex matters.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French with solid proficiency in English.
• Solid understanding of financial analysis, audit methodology and regulatory frameworks.
• Enjoys teamwork and supporting the growth of colleagues.

Required skills

• IFRS standards and consolidation knowledge.
• Data‑analytics and process‑mining techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with audit or data‑analysis software.
