Senior Autonomous Driving Software Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop clean, highly scalable code for its Autonomous Driving stack. You will guide the team technically, help grow its expertise, and validate solutions on simulation, hardware‑in‑the‑loop, vehicle‑in‑the‑loop and real vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, high‑performance software components for autonomous driving.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to the technical growth and best‑practice adoption within the team.
• Test and validate solutions using SiL, HiL, ViL and on‑road vehicle platforms.
• Translate complex functional requirements into clean, maintainable code.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Excellent modern C++ programming skills.
• Strong knowledge of common data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with software design methods and quality standards such as MISRA and SPICE.
• Proficiency in Linux OS and version‑control tools (Git/GitHub).
• Good understanding of linear algebra, kinematics and optimization.
• Ability to analyse and translate complex functional requirements into code.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
