Senior Credit Collections Specialist

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Senior Credit Collections Specialist to join its Customer Excellence team. You will drive a cash‑focused mindset, manage a strategic portfolio of accounts, and identify improvement opportunities across billing and commercial cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic collections by independently managing a diverse portfolio, conducting customer visits and analysis to meet monthly cash targets and reduce overdue balances.
• Drive cross‑functional resolution by collaborating with Billing, Sales, and Operations to eliminate root causes of customer disputes and ensure long‑term payment efficiency.
• Maintain financial integrity through rigorous account reconciliations, receipt voucher management, and monthly KPI reporting to leadership.

Required profile

• Good proficiency in English (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or debt collection, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills for investigating invoice discrepancies and managing dispute resolutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams to achieve resolutions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Familiarity with dedicated receivables tools.
