Senior Data Engineer (Casablanca)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Artefact’s data division in Casablanca. You will work in cross‑functional feature teams, collaborating with consultants, data scientists and creatives to deliver data‑driven solutions for a variety of clients, from cloud migration projects to predictive modelling for environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs and design innovative data solutions across the full data value chain.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of data platforms, from architecture and implementation to performance optimisation and scalability.
• Collaborate with business partners such as Google and Amazon, and participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, trainings and conferences.
• Contribute to the diffusion of best practices within Artefact through seminars, certifications and internal training.

Required profile

• Strong background in software engineering with experience in DevOps or DevSecOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating big‑data infrastructures and machine‑learning pipelines.
• Ability to develop REST APIs, apply test‑driven development and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Curious, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sharing knowledge.
