Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Yakeey, a fast‑growing PropTech startup in Casablanca, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to shape and operate its cloud platform. You will work closely with development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective infrastructure that powers a transparent real‑estate marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Manage production Kubernetes clusters on EKS, ensuring reliability, security, and cost control.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and promote GitOps practices.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and enforce Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls: workload hardening, secrets management, IAM compliance, image scanning.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and CloudWatch.
• Participate in incident response and drive continuous improvement with an SRE mindset.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud or SRE environments.
• Deep expertise with AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong security mindset (least‑privilege, zero‑trust, blast‑radius).
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab) and IaC cultures.
• Ability to work autonomously, make technical decisions and communicate them clearly.
• Collaborative attitude focused on raising DevOps maturity across the organization.
