Senior Events Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Events Manager to support the EU DG MENA communication outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role involves strategic, technical and logistical coordination of a wide range of institutional events to enhance the visibility and impact of EU policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, participant registration and supplier liaison.
• Organise event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements for high‑level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on‑site implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and distribute event‑related communication materials and participant information.
• Conduct post‑event reporting, evaluations and capture lessons learned.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA throughout the event lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• At least 3 years of specific experience managing institutional or communication events.
