Senior Functional Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Senior Functional Safety Designer to lead the definition, maintenance, and evolution of the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE). You will ensure functional requirements are robust, compliant with safety standards, and aligned with the strategic goals of our automotive clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and update the DCEE, guaranteeing clear and compliant functional specifications.
• Conduct audits on use cases and scenarios, and manage integration of modification requests.
• Prepare and present QCTP (Quality, Cost, Time, Planning) reports to Stellantis management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stellantis design groups, project teams, TCS and component teams.
• Analyze issues, perform diagnostic synthesis and drive continuous improvement within the EE architecture team.
• Lead, mentor and train a team of consultants, representing the EE team in high‑level meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in functional safety and system design.
• Proven ability to manage product diversity and ensure requirements consistency.
• Strong technical analysis and root‑cause investigation skills.
