Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Arrow is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join its EMEA finance team in Casablanca. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the General Ledger, month‑end close, and a range of statutory and tax reporting activities across European entities.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage the accuracy of the General Ledger for assigned companies.
• Support cash collections and execute month‑end close procedures, including accruals and trial balance reviews.
• Prepare internal financial reports for Europe and the US head office.
• Execute Sarbanes‑Oxley controls, hedging, revaluation and FX analysis.
• Handle statutory accounting, corporation tax, VAT, Intrastat and sales‑list reporting, and submit related returns.
• Assist with group and statutory audits and produce variance analyses.
• Support fellow accountants, develop efficient processes, and aid the Accounting Manager on projects.

Required profile

• Formal accounting or finance education with experience in tax compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Initiative, resourcefulness and adaptability to drive results.
• Fluent English and solid regulatory/risk‑management knowledge.
