Senior In-Process Quality Leader (IPQ) – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior In‑Process Quality (IPQ) Manager to rebuild, structure, and lead the IPQ function within our automotive components operation. This senior leadership position will oversee a team of quality engineers and technicians, enforce standards, and create a strong quality identity on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IPQ across production lines, establishing and enforcing quality standards, controls, and best practices.
• Drive QRQC routines and ensure their effectiveness.
• Implement structured, sustainable problem‑solving methods such as 8D, PDCA, and root‑cause analysis.
• Oversee quality in assembly and injection‑moulding/plastics processes, controlling process variability and defects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve process capability.
• Lead, coach, and develop the IPQ team, building a high‑performance culture based on accountability and discipline.
• Rebuild the IPQ organization, defining roles, processes, escalation rules, and KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in quality roles within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing a team that includes quality engineers.
• Hands‑on experience in assembly operations and moulding/plastics processes.
• Demonstrated track record in team leadership and transformation initiatives.
