Senior Java/Angular Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java/Angular Consultant to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services. You will work closely with frontend teams to deliver robust RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with Angular applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.
• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs that integrate with Angular front‑ends.
• Work with MongoDB, MSSQL and other NoSQL/SQL databases, handling schema design, indexing and performance tuning.
• Optimize application performance, enforce security best practices, and conduct API testing with Postman.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams; basic knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, ECS) is a plus.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience developing Java‑based backend solutions.
• Strong understanding of REST architecture, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and performance engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with database design, query optimization and monitoring.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
