Senior Laboratory Supervisor

About the role

COBCO is building a high‑tech battery materials ecosystem in Morocco and needs a senior professional to lead its Quality Laboratory at the Jorf Lasfar site. As Laboratory Supervisor you will ensure accurate, timely testing results while driving continuous improvement and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the set‑up, maintenance and optimisation of laboratory testing systems.
• Guarantee accuracy, consistency and on‑time delivery of test results.
• Lead benchmarking activities with clients, suppliers and third‑party labs.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians and analysts, defining training plans and managing performance.
• Ensure ISO and quality‑system compliance, promote safety, 6S and best laboratory practices.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects and support audits, certifications and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Production and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory supervision/management experience.
• At least 8 years of industry experience in chemical, automotive or related sectors.
• Proven experience managing technicians or analysts.
• Fluent English for daily use in an international environment.
