Senior Manager – Payments Product Management

About the role

Western Union is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Payments Fund Out product portfolio. You will shape strategy, drive new capabilities, and ensure scalable, compliant payment solutions that support long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Payments Fund Out product strategy, delivering new features, country rollouts and partner integrations.
• Identify and develop new product opportunities based on customer insight, partner feedback and market analysis.
• Build business cases, define value propositions, scope and expected outcomes.
• Conduct competitive analysis to guide feature prioritisation and integration standards.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives: requirements, development coordination, testing, launch and post‑release monitoring.
• Translate strategy into Epics, Features, Stories and acceptance criteria while ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog across run, grow and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Engineering, QA, Operations, Compliance and external partners for high‑quality releases.
• Support partner onboarding, technical assessments and go‑live coordination.
• Monitor product performance and customer experience, recommending enhancements and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience in financial services, payments or fintech.
• Experience with banking or regulated‑environment integrations preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret customer data, market trends and industry insights.
• Proven track record building business cases and evaluating revenue opportunities.
• Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration with external partners and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
