Senior .NET Backend Developer

About the role

Mindera is looking for a seasoned Senior .NET Backend Developer to design, build and operate high‑performance, cloud‑native services. You will join a product‑focused team that values empathy, self‑organisation and continuous learning, delivering resilient systems that serve users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse ambiguous business requirements, refine acceptance criteria and ensure technical feasibility.
• Design decoupled, scalable solutions using micro‑services and Event‑Driven Architecture patterns.
• Implement highly concurrent, thread‑safe applications with C# and .NET 8+ while favouring composition over inheritance.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (xUnit, WireMock) following Test‑Driven Development principles.
• Deploy services through modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Terraform) and monitor production using AWS CloudWatch, New Relic and other telemetry tools.
• Participate in architectural decisions, clearly communicating trade‑offs and ownership throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating complex, high‑throughput backend systems with .NET.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with AWS, especially containerised workloads (ECS/EC2) and messaging services (SQS/SNS).
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems and event‑driven patterns.
• Product‑mindset with a sense of ownership from development to production monitoring.
