Senior Officer, Supply Planning

About the role

The Senior Officer, Supply Planning acts as the daily bridge between suppliers, licensors and internal teams, ensuring product availability across the supply chain. Working primarily in SAP, the role coordinates ordering cycles, anticipates bottlenecks and resolves issues before they affect delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Run the complete ordering cycle on SAP (processing, verification, edition, validation) and keep order data and key dates accurate.
• Follow up purchase orders with suppliers, prioritize urgent items and flag any delays early.
• Serve as the single point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders (QA, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Warehouse, Production) to close open points.
• Maintain trusted relationships with suppliers through daily communication in Arabic, French and English.
• Coordinate customs documentation, goods receipt and product release on SAP with Clearance, Reception and Quality teams.
• Monitor KPIs, contribute to monthly reporting and support cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering (Bac+3 to Bac+5).
• Minimum 4 years of supply‑chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

Required skills

• SAP – purchase orders, MRP, master data.
• Ivanti portal for system issue tracking.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups).
• Power BI (plus).
• Reporting and KPI consolidation.
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms and import/clearance documentation.
