Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Inveneo is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead and elevate quality engineering practices across its digital products and client projects. This hands‑on role focuses on test automation, Azure cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive end‑to‑end quality strategy for UI, API, integration, regression, performance, security and other non‑functional testing.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services and cloud‑native apps.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates to improve release confidence.
• Validate Azure‑hosted applications, cloud infrastructure, integrations and deployment processes.
• Use logs, metrics, traces, dashboards and alerts to proactively detect quality issues.
• Lead defect triage, production investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Mentor QA and automation engineers and promote a quality‑first culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer, Senior Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in UI automation, API automation, integration testing and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience with performance, resilience and regression testing in cloud environments.

Required skills

• Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, Python.
• Automation tools: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman/Newman, RestAssured.
• Performance testing tools: k6, JMeter.
• Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, observability (logs, metrics, dashboards).
