Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform for Short-Term Rentals

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental operators. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and scale the core platform that powers reservations, pricing, payments, guest communication and property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, services and APIs that support the full rental lifecycle.
• Build customer‑facing products, automation engines and AI‑powered workflows.
• Design API‑first integrations with partners such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS.
• Create event‑driven workflows that automate cleaning schedules, check‑in instructions and owner reporting.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery from problem definition through deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Product mindset with a bias toward action and learning from real users.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
